Lunaticats are small felines that can be found scattered throughout the multiverse.

Lunaticats are not a species in and of themselves, but rather a reversible polymorphism acquired under strange and peculiar circumstances known as "pacts."

This means that any species in the multiverse can physically transform into a lunaticat after undergoing one of these pacts.

After entering into a pact, a being can shift from its natural form to its Lunaticat form at will. 

Depending on the circumstances under which the pact was made, these transformations can vary. Some glow during their transformation, others melt between one form and another... Some even explode into a bloody mess after transforming!

These transformations are completely painless.

There are certain rituals that can force and/or disable the power of voluntary transformation.

Only Lunaria knows these rituals, and they are her best-kept secret.

Lunaticats are feline chimeras. This means they are hybrids of many species, but the feline gene always predominates.

Usually, a Lunaticat’s form is based on the natural appearance of the contracted being, but sometimes it can look completely different! It can even change genders or voices.

Individually, Lunaticats don’t see much difference between their lives before and after the pact. But when several Lunaticats get together, they tend to go wild and love spending their time having fun, causing chaos, and sharing memes with each other.

Some people transform from time to time… Others practically live in their Lunaticat form!
